Rahyab believes that the knowledge and wisdom empowers the human being. It is only by instruction that the people could be proud of them, could eliminate from their mind the preventatives thoughts and could changed themselves. So that we consider unavoidable the necessity of instruction by Non Governmental Organizations.
By obtaining the knowledge and instruction all the men and the women in each society, as the instructor of future generation, could be able to better know themselves and the world of their children, also they could create more conformity with the educational principle and the manner of behavior with their children . They can create an ambiance of peace, understanding and contribution with their spouse and attentive relations with all the members of the family meanwhile with protecting the human right of all of them.
Child Abuse
The child abuse is hidden crime of our world. This crime not only will destroy this generation but also the future generations too. When the child is subjected to corporal punishment, comparison or despise is like a silkworm without protection, which his pure and happiness cocoon is destroyed with a poniard of our ignorance and impatience avoiding it to be a butterfly . Many times themselves recourse to violence for reason of anger and distress.
The Prevention of child abuse Group is consisting of volunteers with cooperation of psychologists and Social workers in this matter. Their goals are:
1- Increase the sensibility of society about child abuse spreading and outbreak
2- Promote the families’ knowledge about recognizing the different manners of child abuse
3- Teaching the children about knowing their rights and recognizing different types of child abuse
4- Empowering the parents in order to prevent child abuse especially child sexual abuse
5- Recognizing and taking the necessary steps legally and psychotherapeutically actions for abused children and their families
To reach those mentioned above goals, there are some activities already done and some of them are being started:
1-Preparing brochures and posters to show different kind of child abuses
2- Preparing pamphlets about the child abuse consequences and the characteristics of abusers
3- The seminars and teaching classes for parents and teachers are organized
4- To have training skills workshops in order to prevent child abuse
Cultural
We believe the human being stay on his cultural pedestal . As much as the level of their culture is high they live more comfortably, they avoid the dark deadlock of disappointment and they live with delight through finding the solution for their eventual problem . For this goal Rahyab institution organize the cultural sector among its activities as believes that the cultural section could be mentally profitable for the members and also the clientele . This sector has different activities .
The publication of bulletin, website Internet, literary criticism and forum, exposition of photos ……each branch of activity in this section realize a part of its goal . For example in the quarterly bulletin, besides of the Institution’s report, the different articles concerning psychology, law, literary, sociology are published . This section is ready to publish the articles of the members and the readers, after verification, which could be useful for the empowerment of its members and clientele . In the literary gathering two members of this institution read their poems in the presence of well-known poets . At the session of literary criticism, in which the well- known critics criticize the book in the presence of the writer, in this session the participants who most of them, have red previously the book, they could also ask their questions from the writer . It is also an experience for them to know and talk with the writers . We wish to enrich our cultural activities by receiving the different ideas in this matter .
Women Studies
After the researches and deliberations Rahyab institution takes into consideration the women’s need in the society and decides to organize a women studies group for below mentioned goals : As we believes the women never received reply for consideration of their needs in the cultural, social, legal and political sectors, for the reason of non-observance of their rights and we believe too the root of many of their problems is the result of injustice and incorrect proceeding and also as there is no guarantee for execution of a law the women did not reach the dignity of her rank. Therefore we believe the women have to know their rights and her deeds for observing the other rights for obtaining the dignity for herself and her family . For this reason we encourage them to study more about their problems .
Consultation
Nowadays the fast social and economic evolutions are developed the human relations but create also the difficulties and sometimes misunderstanding in the life . On the other side regarding the progress of science one person could not have the possibility to know all the different branches of instruction for solving his problems. Reason for that the consultations with the experts of different branches are inevitable. Rahyab institution takes the necessary steps for organizing the group of legal and psychologist advisers.
A- Legal advisor : Presentation of legal advice in the field of family life consisting matrimony discord, alimony, right of children’s tutelage, fee for the period of living together and other women rights.
B- Acceptance of arbitration services for settlement of a disagreement between the contending parties. Presentation of experienced and competent lawyers, who respect and defend the women right, to the legal authorities for arbitration
C- Psychological adviser, For psychological advice in the different cases : Individual, familiar and concerning the child abuse
Assistance of students
We believe that instruction is unalienable right of all the children. Any child has not been deprived of his rights . Recognition of children’s rights is an indicator of the extent of social development in a country . No adversity, no problems such as deprivation of their father or parents or financial problems should distress children, in the age which the law allows the child to exercise his right, we must equipped our children with the knowledge and skills required for the age in which we live.
Article 28 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child:
“Instruction is the right of all the children. Children should be able, with considering their conditions, to benefit from all the required possibilities of instruction . The States are in the charge to safeguard the primary instruction compulsory and free “
Article 79 of the law of the work emphasizes that: “the employment of the people under 15 years old is forbidden “.
We decide to realize, as we can, a part of these laws, which are a dream of the humanity. For realizing these goals the group of Assistance of students was organized in Rahyab institution .We take under our wing the children who are under tutelage of their mother and for the reason of financial problems they could not continue to study . This group is consisting of 7 persons, which on of them is social assistant. In the annual assembly this group will present its report concerning their activities, also the statistics of received and payment amounts. The members of the group will take all the decisions concerning the file of each student after receiving the report of social assistant. The sponsors take in charge the payment of instruction expenses of the students.
Our goals:
Our fundamental objectives is that our children, the greatest asset of our nation, is raised and grow up in the social and economic atmosphere they deserve and by this way create a healthy society and conduct them in the direction of creating a world where peace and tolerance reign.
Our conditions:
1. The students who are under tutelage of their mother
2. The students who are physically and mentally healthy
3. The age of students must be between : 7 to 23 years old
Assistance, which the group takes in charge for students:
1. Payment for registration in the school and university for one year
2. Payment for books and equipment for study, school uniform, sportswear, schoolbag and shoes
3. Follow - up the study situation of student and take the necessary steps for removing identifiable obstacles
4. Psychology and instructional advices for students if necessary
5. Instruction of their mothers for knowing their empowerment and knowledge of behavior with children and teenagers if necessary
Sponsors:
- Sponsors will pay the above mentioned expenses of students for at least one year
- The sponsors are classified in two categories constant and occasional. Each student of university has to have one specific sponsor .
- The students will not know the name of sponsor during the period of study
- The constant sponsors of Assistance of students group could, by wish, participate in the meeting of this group as observer
- The members of this group consider as a duty to present the finance report concerning payments and expense account, if they were asked, to the constant sponsors
